Behind the Story
Hi, I’m Liza!
I’m the founder of Move Free your friendly trainer for the Move Free Kids Program and your supportive enabler in the Move Free Adults Community.
I’ve been active in sports and fitness since I was young, and I’ve always believed in making a healthy lifestyle accessible to everyone. While I started out majoring in Engineering, I quickly found my true calling in teaching Physical Education. Over the years, I’ve worked with children and youth of all ages — from primary schools to polytechnics teaching PE, managing CCAs, and driving sports development. My last full-time role was at the Singapore Sports School, where I set up a Multi-Sport Academy focused on long-term athlete development. Along the way, I pursued my Masters of Science in Exercise and Sports Studies (NIE) and continued expanding my expertise with certifications in strength and conditioning, nutrition, and movement.
Training Designed for Real Lives
As a former athlete and passionate mover, I know what it feels like to face setbacks. A torn meniscus in my late 30s reminded me that movement isn’t just about sports or fitness it’s about freedom, confidence, and longevity. That realisation inspired me to explore natural movement practices like MovNat, train with a local women’s parkour group, climb rocks with my students, and find joyful ways to move even with injuries.
Why I created Move Free
With my ground experience and knowledge, I started Move Free to share training methodologies that work for all bodies — including those managing chronic issues or injuries.
Empowering your lives
I’m not just here to be a trainer. I’m here to be a facilitator and enabler — helping kids, adults, and communities rediscover what’s possible through the power of movement.

Parents of Move Free Kids
I think it’s a good learning experience for her, I can see she’s trying to figure things out. Learning from experiences like the first time she jumps and on to the next….and subsequently, she manage to do it herself.
